Basic Principles of Cooperation

1. General Information

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Lena Riemann | Home to Herself (“Provider”), including but not limited to:

  • digital products (e.g. downloadable PDFs, online resources)
  • coaching and mentoring services
  • applications for private mentorship
  • any other services offered online or offline

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings, purchases, or applications made via:

  • online shop
  • website forms (including quiz or application forms)
  • email
  • messaging services (e.g. WhatsApp, Telegram, or similar platforms)

By completing a purchase, booking, or submitting an application, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Digital Products (Downloadable Content)

Upon successful payment, customers receive immediate or automated access to digital products (e.g. PDF downloads, online resources).

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final once access has been granted.

There is no right of return or cancellation once the download or access has begun, unless required by mandatory legal provisions.

3. Private Mentorship Application (Non-Binding Inquiry)

Applications for private mentorship are non-binding.

After submitting an application, applicants may be contacted personally for further clarification or a possible introductory conversation.

Submission of an application does not constitute a contract or guarantee participation in the mentorship.

4. Formation of Contract for Mentorship Services

A binding agreement for private mentorship is only established when:

  • a written confirmation has been issued by the Provider, and
  • an invoice has been sent, and
  • payment (or the first instalment, if agreed) has been received

Only upon fulfilment of these conditions is a binding contract formed.

5. Payment Terms

Invoices are issued via email.

Payment is due within the period stated on the invoice.

For mentorship services:

  • full payment or agreed instalment payment must be received for the contract to become valid
  • in case of instalment plans, failure to pay any instalment may result in suspension of services, while the full payment obligation remains valid

Payment methods may include bank transfer or other indicated payment providers.

6. Missed Sessions / Services

If applicable services (e.g. coaching sessions, mentorship calls) are not attended by the client, these sessions generally cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

There is no entitlement to partial refunds for missed or unused services.

7. Cancellation of Coaching / Mentorship Services

Cancellation policies apply as stated in the individual agreement or invoice.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • cancellations must be made in writing (email or message)
  • once a service has started, cancellation rights may be limited according to the agreed terms

8. Cancellation / Withdrawal for Digital Services

For digital products, the right of withdrawal expires once the download or access has begun, in accordance with applicable EU consumer law for digital content.

9. Cancellation of Services by Provider

The Provider reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to:

  • illness
  • insufficient demand
  • force majeure or unforeseen circumstances

In such cases, any payments already made will be refunded within a reasonable timeframe.

No liability is accepted for indirect costs (e.g. travel, accommodation, or loss of earnings).

10. Liability

Participation in all services is at the client’s own responsibility.

The Provider does not guarantee specific results from coaching, mentorship, or any form of guidance.

Any liability for direct or indirect damages, of any kind, is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

11. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days.

However, this right expires early if:

  • digital content has already been accessed or downloaded, or
  • services begin before the end of the withdrawal period with the client’s explicit consent

For mentorship services booked close to the start date, the right of withdrawal may be waived in accordance with legal provisions if service execution begins immediately.

12. Insurance / Personal Responsibility

Clients are responsible for their own insurance coverage during all services.

The Provider is not liable for personal, emotional, physical, or material damages arising from participation in coaching or mentoring services, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

13. Final Agreement

By purchasing a digital product, booking a service, or submitting an application, the client confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
